Directions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Wash and trim the asparagus spears, patting them dry with a paper towel.
- Wrap each bundle of 2-3 asparagus spears with a slice of bacon, starting from the bottom and spiraling to the top.
- Place each wrap on the prepared wire rack and drizzle lightly with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and asparagus is tender.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with balsamic reduction if desired.
Recipe Notes
- For an added kick of flavor, sprinkle a pinch of cayenne before baking.
- Ensure bacon is not tightly wrapped to allow for even cooking.
